Is it my imagination or are there fewer peanuts?

hi wizzywig, could I be unique do you think, perhaps the only person left in Western society never to have tasted peanut butter. My only knowledge of the stuff is from American books where people appear to have the strange practice of making sandwiches out of the stuff together with jelly. Reading about this rather bizarre combination definitely put me off from ever wanting to taste the stuff as the whole idea just kind of grossed me out. I should add I don't like jelly and it wobbles far too much to put in a sandwich. So to answer your question I've no idea at all where your peanuts could be lurking.
