disorderly warehouse

i used to work in a warehouse where most parts were not where they were supposed to be. yet they expected the pickers to find the parts in record time. they told them to not take too long if they couldn't find the part they should ask for help. BUT when they would ask for help they were told they weren't trying hard enough. when people offered to put things in order they would tell them not to take the time. the employee would try to reason that if things were in order it would take less time to find the part. in the long run it would save time. but management would not hear of it. have you worked in a place like that? how reasonable are they where you work?

I was lucky enough in my working days to never work for such silly people! If things are in order they are found quickly and you can get more work done

that sounds so right and i know a former co-worker as well as my bro-in-law who work in a warehouse where things are in place and parts are found right away. the place i worked was absurd to say the least.
