OK, I know MyLot doesn't have a lot of techie coders, but for those of you who are like me, here's something interesting. HTML 5 has been released recently in BETA stage. HTML 5 was mainly created for the increased multimedia tags. If you have ever used them, you may have noticed that previous multimedia tags have been a bit hackish, such as adding a flash document or the such to a page. If you've looked into it, there was a lot of thinking required for the first person to come up with the code for video implementation. Now though, at least for me, not many people car how it works, but from what I've heard, it's not very good. Well, they fixed that problem... Anyways, something I found a bit awkward was the amount of tags and attributes that were REMOVED from the HTML language in this revision! Take a look at these tags that were removed from HTML 5 -align attribute REMOVED on caption, iframe, img, input, object.... (the list goes on, including table, tr, and td) -alink, link, text, and vlink attributes removed on body -background attribute removed from body -bgcolor attribute removed from table, tr, td, th, and body -border attribute removed from table, img, and object And I could lsit everything, but there's too much!! This interests me. They said they did this because these actions were best performed with CSS. Of course, many are saying, why is this important (most coders are switching to XHTML). The answer....primarily the multimedia. Please, respond if you have questions or comments:) Here are some links you may find useful:HTML differences http://www.w3.org/TR/html5-diff/General HTML 5 page at W3 http://www.w3.org/html/wg/html5/Wikipedia page (more general information and history) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML_5

Hey, no problem. Sorry about the links bugging up though, it's not properly spacing the links. Here they are again. The first one for example combined General at the end of it, when really, that was the start of the title for the next link lol...
