In my opinion, and a hell of alot of other people will agree, are the best music related invents in the world! What more could you want than to see your favourite band in the flesh performing right infront of you... So i wanna know, what was the best Gig you've ever been to and why? Whether it be Nirvana, Sabath or even Busted! lol (Nothing against any busted fans out there =P)

To go with the title of this discussion...I have only heard the term "gig" used when it is the musician or musicians themselves talking about it. I have always heard it called "concert" from the audience point of view. I am old. LOL. I haven't been to such a concert in a long long time. However, every year, all summer long our town has concerts in the park where they bring in some good name groups. Of course these are more geared to my age group, but they are fun for all ages. The last actual "concert" I went to was at our county fairground and it was for Christian singer/rapper Carmen. I have also seen in concert Rebecca St. James. Years and years and years ago I went to a Peter, Paul, and Mary concert...that was back in the mid-80's. Back in the early to mid-70's I went to a ZZ Top concert. I did not like that one at all...not my kind of music. See? Told ya I was old!

It doesn't really matter what you call it, around where I live and alot of other places, people will say gig... I've also heard artists themselves saying gig, show and concert... It's just a word really doesn't matter which one you say =) So which was the best one when you went to these concerts (for you =))?
