I have booked two of my last trips online and have found it very easy, convinient, a wide range of options to choose from and a range of prices and airlines to compare.
I think we'll be doing this from now on and allowing myself plenty of time in the off-peak seasons.
Have you planned and booked your travelling online? How did you find the experience? Easy or endearing? Convinient and hassle-free? Do you still need to contact a travel agent or agency to book your travels or maybe it's all done by your company's travel services?
Do you think you will continue to plan your travel the way you do?

Yes I had tried booking my flight twice online and went on hassle free. I also tried traveling using the service of travel agents and had some problem with it. Booking online is easy and convenient. I'll be traveling in September and had just book my flight online. However, regarding hotel reservations, its best to call just to be sure you have a room.

Hello Marina321,
Yes I have always booked my travel experiences online. I find that it is convenient, and really a great way to research all the fares I need to ensure that I get exactly what I want and need at a price that is super affordable! There are so many great search engines out there - I have to say my favorites are Expedia.com, Cheaptickets.com, and Hotwire. I live in California so if I fly in California I usually add Southwest as well! I've seen a lot of commercials for Hotels.com so I'll probably use them as well in the future! I forgot that travel agencies actually still exist!

I have been booking my travel online for years. It is very easy and convenient. As far as the hotel reservations are concerned, I book online and then call to confirm the reservation before leaving home. It is always just fine, but I do like to confirm by phone just to be sure.

I've booked trips online for years now. I agree with you that it is very easy and convienent to do so. Hubby and I booked our vegas wedding online a few years ago (which included the wedding at the chapel) and everything turned out wonderful. We had a great time. I agree though that it is a good idea to call ahead for hotel reservations to confirm before you leave. I also find those travel websites great for reviews from others who have stayed at hotels and such to get a good idea what your getting into if you're traveling to an unfamiliar place. I've used three different major websites for traveling in the past and haven't had any problems with any of them.
