I have a lot of them and I keep on plugging them and unplugging them but really am telling you the truth I never faced too much problem with those devices. I think a lot depends on how you are using it. But the name and also do not deny the fact that these days the appliances are getting too much delegate and even a single error can afford to the device and it will mean replacing it rather than repairing it which is nowadays almost like a salute. This is the reason I generally by a USB hub which I connect to the main port of my computer and then I'd plug the devices into the hub which are needed sometimes to stop in this way I protect my main use this lot and spent the hub gives me a problem I just buy out a new one for just under 500 bucks of Indian currency and

It hasn't happened to me yet when the USB ports got busted. It seemed so at one point when I can't connect devices to a particular port. Well, it was the driver. USB2 on Win 98 SE. Now, the most problem I had with my USB is just sometimes, it's loose the port won't recognize the connection and when it does, it usually says unrecognizable device. I just have to change USB ports and it works. There are times as well that I have to slightly loosen the cable a bit for the port to recognize it with the correct driver for windows.
