I live at home still, right now it's just me and my mom most the time because my dad is back home getting our house ready to sell. I think there are definitely 2 sides to living at home, there are the parts of being glad that they are still alive, because I know when they aren't someday I will fall apart, and also if I were to live on my own I'd have to worry about paying rent and having bills and stuff. Also, if I lived in a small apartment or rental I wouldn't be able to have my dogs and cats, and probably wouldn't be able to take care of all of them alone anyway. Now, the negative aspect for me is the arguments, and being treated like a kid when I'm 25. Also, I think after a certain age it's just really hard for parents and kids to live together. In my case, I don't go out much, because I don't drive, so I pretty much only ever see my mom everyday. We moved recently so I don't know anyone down here, so no friends to invite over. So I basically try to stay in my room, especially when things are tense. But like I said, it's kinda a mixed blessing. I don't have to pay rent, but I sometimes pay with emotions and feeling trapped and alone.
