Cable TV

After waiting for a week to have cable installed we were very disappointed. About two hours after the cable guy left, the cable box wouldn't work anymore. The servic department tried to send signals to the cable box but it's dead as a door nail. Now we have to wait till June 21st before we can get another tech out here. This really sucks and I'm just letting off some steam. Anyone else have cable tv troubles to cuss or discuss?

i have heard a lot of complaints like this cable,cable,cable.quit watching t.v from cable ,get started to watch t.v from sattelite t.v it is becoming really popular and it is even more cheaper than cable.it has dvd quality picture and true value for money.

Thanks for your comment. In my town cable is cheaper because we get local channels free, which is something we really want. It's actually about $20 a month cheaper. I'm not sure the hassle is worth $20 though. However, my daughter got satelite tv and within 2 weeks had to call for a technician to come out and fix it. With our antenna, we lost our signal every time a plane flew over, which is frequently since we live 5 miles from the airport.
