If you do why do you feel this way, is it because one of your parents or other family worked for Ford motor company, or is it because that it is an American company with American employees.
If you were in the market for a car would you buy a Ford or Chevy or an import of some type.
DO you think it is hurtful to the American auto workers when you buy imports?
Also do you think it is helpful to the American economy to buy American made products. or does it really matter in your opinion.

I absolutely DO NOT think Ford has the best cars!! I am a GM/Chevy fan myself. I think GM/Chevy products are great! Right now I have a GMC Jimmy which I have had for 5 years. It has not had any major breakdowns and hopefully I'll keep it a few more years before I will be in the market for another. I think it is very hurtful to the American auto workers to buy foreign imports. I for one think it is very important for our economy to buy American made products. Also, they are better quality than foreign made products. I wish they would quit sending things overseas to be made.

It would be good if they would stop sending all the jobs overseas, and I agree with you on buying American,
Also I like chevy's I always have, but my husband likes Fords I think because he has family that worked there.
He won't drive a foreign made car though at all, he will get very mad if anyone suggest that he buy a foreign made car for any reason,
He says that he wants his car to be American made.
We are also effected here because of the jobs that have left and went overseas, my husband has no job right now, and we have no health insurance and that makes life very hard.
Hopefully we will be able to find a way to pay the bills this coming month, it is scary when you know that you are almost totally out of money and you have used up all your resources, and there are no jobs that you can do nearby, and even if there were you could not afford the gas to get there,
ANyway, sorry to get off topic, I like American made cars whether they are Fords, Chevy's or Dodge.
I don't like Saturns however and would never buy one nor even accept one if someone were to give it to me, because of the fact that is the type of car that hit my son and killed him last year, and the driver claimed he did not know what he hit and it was still very much day light so I think that is a cursed type car so I would not buy it at all.
anyway, maybe one of these days jobs will come back to America it would be nice.

I'm sorry to hear about your son. That would be very difficult. I probably would feel the same way about a vehicle if it had killed my relative. I hope a job comes up for your husband. Times are really difficult right now for many. I do have a job, am divorced, and so a single income. Times are difficult for me financially. I need to watch what I spend. Best wishes!

Thank you very much.
I think that maybe more people just need to have their own businesses so they don't have to worry with their jobs leaving and going overseas or something like that.
Maybe the econonomy will get better as the gas prices go down I believe they will go down eventually because people will just stop buying gas. Then because no one is buying the oil companies will have to sell for less or they will loose all profits they would of made.
Anyway, I hope you have a great week, and I am sorry to hear your divorced, divorce is never easy it is always hard. Even though I get highly irritated at my husband sometimes a lot, that does not mean I want to get divorced, because I came from a divorced home it is not a good thing.
