Do you scan the whole book that you are about to read or do you go directly to the first chapter?

Well I usually look at the title of the book first and if the title interest me, then I will read the summary of what the book is about. This is usually located at the back of the book. As I wanted to make sure I will have an enjoyable time reading this book!~
