Hmmm! I am wondering the way some religious arguments are presented and would like to pose this querry:- 'Can you argue your way to heaven?'. I mean literally stand before God and tell Him how good you have been, how you have helped the hungry, the sick, the lost, all and sundry. Can a person also argue about the Bible he/she has never read? Can you argue your way to Heaven like you could argue your way out of prison before a judge? Bring it on, let su hear how you can!!

Hi, I am a Christian and would have to say No! You can not argue your way into Heaven. According to the Holy Scriptures there is but one way to heaven and that way is by accepting Jesus and what he did for all of us on the cross. God bless, leofa

Yes, that is the whole truth, nothing but the truth, so help us God for those who think they can do penance for their sins. Personal relationship with christ.

Id have to agree, there is no way to enter that gates of heaven unless you have a personal relationship with Jesus. God Bless, jimmyd506

I know what Christians will say. They will say that God sees you for who you are without you even sayibg a word, so there will be no "debate". Again, its not my view but I can promise this is what most people are going to tell you.

Hypothetically talking, I guess it would be fair :D In this world even the most evil person deserves a defense and so I guess if God would respect us as individuals he would be happy to explain us everything. Or maybe that won't be necessary because we would able to understand the truth by ourselves :P

We need to do more than the thought. I would rather believe than to be caught unawares. My fear is that we shall perish not because of ignorance but because of denial. We deny that which we assume not to know. Gods case on appeal!

It's not true that we deny what we don't know. In many situations we just say we don't know it. And also I don't think we should follow one religion because maybe it could be true. It's better doing a good thing because you believe that's the right way, not because you are afraid of the punishment.

no i dont.. and i wouldnt want a god that i could argue down since that means he wouldnt be as strong or as smart as he should.. judges maybe.. if you dont know about the bible you shouldnt argue since its ignorant to try to argue about something you dont know anything about..

I guesse you are right. But could you tell me, are we really going to heaven? And what shall we be doing in heaven. There is this issue of a new heaven and new earth. Rev.21:1.

Of course we cant talk for God but ourselves. I think to believe in God is the simplest thing we could ever do.

Heaven is a real and wonderful place, where Jesus has gone to prepare for those who believes in Him. Heaven is a place of everlasting joy and glory-where God is . We shall all stand and give an account. Your faith in Jesus and action will determine your entrance to Heaven someday.

I would not think so. Arguing is certainly not what one may consider heavenly qualities. I also think it is wrong to argue about a religious way, symbol or book especially when we know nothing about it.

Nope! All men have the choice. No matter if you have read the Bible or not, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and strive toward that goal, you can't not go to Heaven. The Bible says so. Gos says so.

if you believe in heaven, wouldn't you believe in the fairness of God, and wouldn't you believe in the judgement day, or day of reckoning, or the day when your sins and good deeds would be evaluated in a fair manner? Only thing you can argue about is the existence of God.
