I know that it is not fun to do just start discussions all the time, but has anyone just tried it for one day to see the difference in the earnings?

my target in mylot is to post at least one topic each day. but due to some other works i have to do in the office, i seldom start a discussion. starting a discussion is a great help in our earnings, not just for the starters but for the responders as well...

I tried it, I got discussions with about 20 responses but my earnings weren't as high as they were a day before, when I actually responded to other people's discussions too... I like this system, having friends t respond to your discussions isn't a good system, I do think however that the amount of money for a highly responded discussion should be a bit higher..

No I haven't done that. The reason is when I see a list of discussion started by the same person I tend to ignore them and I figure most others might ignore them if I did that. I suppose if I started discussion and made sure I didn't start others in the same category until a few others appear then I would feel better about doing that. I may just give it a try and see what happens. I am curious to see what would happen. After all not everyone thinks like me so maybe they wouldn't ignore them or report me for being to spammy.

I haven't tried something like this yet, because I have trouble coming up with good ideas. I think I might overthink it when trying to come up with discussions. So I don't start discussions that often. My main focus is responding to as many discussions as I can, both for earnings and to help friends out, and of course other ones that catch my attention.

I have seen plenty of newbies to myLot just starting discussions because they think that is the quickest way to make money at myLot. Of course if they start good discussions and get a many responses they will earn some money, but if those discussions are of poor quality and get few or no responses they end up with no earnings. People who earn more money for their discussions have many myLot friends or have been at myLot long enough to know which type of discussion will get many good responses. I think of the earnings I get from discussions as a bonus, on top of the money I make from my own responses.
