Home made or from a store. I prefer home made. It's not hard to make, but I don't seem to make it as often as I would like. Plus, the advantage of ice cream from the store is you can store it longer. But over all I still prefer home made over ice cream from a store. How about you?

I prefer it from the store. It's just all around easier and it lasts longer.

I've never tried home made ice cream. So I can't compare it to ice cream bought from the store. I think i try it some day

I think you may like it. And, it's really not that hard to make. I took Reeses candy bars last night and crumbled it up and made ice cream last night. Gosh! It was good. Going to try Butter Finger later this week. Thank you for your response!

I always get ice cream from the store, but a long time ago when I was a little kid I had a little toy icecream maker, and it made real icecream, I could make it with help, of course. LOL I don't know how often I actually made homemade icecream, but I bet it was so good! Store bought is definitely more convenient, but right now you made me want to go buy an icecream maker to make home-made icecream! LOL Actually, I've been craving ice cream all night!

I bet if you try it one time, you would love it. Ice cream from a store is more convenient, but home made is a little taste from heaven.

that depends on the ice cream you buy.. i have made ice cream, with evaporated milk, chocolate ice cream and it REALLY creamy and nice.. But there again i have had some home-made ice cream that just not good.. I love the proper expensive type ice creams from store.. there is some VERY nice creamy ones and fantastic flavors.. There is one type i really like, comes in small tub and many flavors, cant think what it called right now.. Normally can get at cinema also. Its the best i have ever tasted but little expensive, so it is a treat

I mostly make home made in the summer. All different kinds! I just use my imagination. LOL! I have not figured out how to make green chocolate mint ice cream, so I do still buy that. We took Reese's butter cups the other day and made ice cream! It was yummy! Thanks for your response!

I have made an ice cream once but making it takes time so i prefer to have ice cream from a sore so that it wouldn't take me more time to wait until i can eat one.

I've tried making once but it failed terribly I think I did something wrong somewhere. I was young then. Ever since that first attempt, I did not try. Is it really that easy? I saw some premix for Green tea ice-cream. I saw it in a Japanese store and am thinking of buying it to try. I love Green tea ice-cream.
