Isn't it great to just be alive?

Life has it's ups and downs. We all have to deal with stress in one way or another don't we? Life can slap you in the face pretty quick and before you know it you're dealing with something stressful again. I find that I need to meditate daily or I tend to let the stress build and then it can lead to depression. How do you deal with the stresses in your life?

For myself, I think there are two kinds of stresses, external and internal. I find that most of my stresses often arise due to my own expectation, i.e. internal, and thus I often tell myself to strive for my best, whatever the outcome, it is meant to be and I will have to regret that I should have done this or that. As for external stresses such as work ( and the whole bunch of other things that come with it ), I will try not to worry so much, and often remind myself to focus on issues at hand rather than the consequences/implications or whatever that maybe. To release some of the pressure, I often find driving as a good way to relax. Music and maybe singing along helps a great deal as well. A silly movie or a casual chat with a friend would help to bring my mind off the pressure as well.

I definitely use the driving and music to relieve stress. Singing also helps to decrease that stress but I am sure that anyone hearing me sing away my stress has their stress level go up a bit as I go flying by. Of course they could also laugh until they fall down and that is good for relieving stress.

Reading to Relax - When you need to escape
I use to have a very stressful job and well did a number on me and I wasn't able to have kids and now I no longer have that job because I moved with my hubby back to his home state and am not working. Not working has stress as well you wouldn't think so eh? But now when I feel like I am going to stress or feel stress creeping up on me I'll read a good book or watch a good movie. I find my books take me on a short escape. Toss in a bubble bath and wala freedom.

I like to pick up my guitar when the stress builds a bit too much. It's a great way to take my mind away for a bit. Music almost always helps. I haven't brought myself to the bubble bath place yet

Maybe the bubble bath thing is a girl thingy? I don't have to be real stressed to do it. I guess I could take the bass out of the closet and dust her off and mess around with her. Could do that even if not stressed. hmmmm thanks forgot she was hiding in there.

I don't think it is good just to live.. Stress and frustration in life is nothing after you passed it and look back when you success. I just try to solve it if i failed then i failed. I can't change my fate.

Well, pressure or stress can never be away from you, what life you want to live depends on your own attitudes towards it.Life can be described as a mirror, you know.Keep a positive mind is the first. Then, everything is easier. You can sing songs[another language is better],sweet or sad,in your own feelings, even your are not so good at it.Besides, think more about your family, friends and pets, they can share some of your passions.Atlast, you should take more excise.Remember,do not give up that easy.
