I wonder what people think about birth control. I had some time to think about when my wife was pregant with our last child. She had C-sections which was not good for her health. She was only suppose to have 3, but she had 4. We asked some Christian friends waht they thought about getting the operation to seal her tubes and they said that it was probably wrong. There is nowhere in scripture where it is seen in biblical culture that the sealing or closing of a womb was a good thing. God blessed mankind to be fruitful and ordered duplication: it is a sin to be unfruitful before God. There is a lot more to it than that and I don't want to ramble on and on about the god Molech and other such issues. There is some really deep philosophy to the issue of birth control in America that 90% of Americans are unaware of. What do you think of birth control.

I thinks its great if it actually works for you.It didnt work for me.I recently had my tubes tied because of medical concerns.I think that God understands if there are problems and your health is at risk.He is an understanding God and I dont think He would want your wife to put her life in jeopardy by having more kids.

I felt the same way then & now. Do you think that there is another dimension where a Christian should have faith in their God to be able to preserve them from this type of dilemna though?

I do feel that way as well. I think that as a person grows in their knowledge of God they realize that He would not put more on them than they are able to bear. I also think that this comes with age and understanding. Sometimes we are not really sure at the time, but it is neccessary that we are able to live with the decision that we make.
