Want to increase your web site rank?

I was really busy with my blog and didn't have time to visit mylot. In fact I was enjoying myself until I came to know the rank. What a shock? This is pathetic. Am I the only one? Any other mylot friends with a similar experience? Anyway I came to know this is purely based on links exchanged and nothing to do with the content. Now of course I can put up with the rank. But if you have anything to suggest please do so. Any tips? By the way i just joined this wonderful site called 'Qassia' today where you get quality backlinks to get a good rank and promote the web site. Any others using Qassia?
