What can I do with mugs with missing handles?

Strange question I know, but we are building up a collection of mugs with handles missing (not deliberately, just down to clumsiness!) I don't really like the idea of throwing them away, so what else can I do with them? They are perfectly fine other than the lack of handles, and we've still been using them until recently when my mum took pity on us for having all these broken cups, and bought us some new ones :0) I shouldn't think anybody else would want them, but any other uses you can think of??

use them to hold paintbrushes and such like; store leftovers; smash them against a wall when you get mad ... and then use the pieces as drainage in the bottom of plant pots or make mosaics with them; put them under dripping taps; get some table tennis balls and see how many times you can throw it into the mug without it bouncing out; use as vases; fill them with vodka, drink it and then dont give a damn what happens to the mugs!!!

Another good idea. Would look quite cool too, as most of the cups are bright yellow! Thanks for the suggestion!

You could use them as potting planters or just to hold a small plant. Just turn the broken handle to an angle you cant see.

Yes, I do always need plant pots, and have some seeds that I want to get started, so that's a useful idea! Thanks for your reply :0)
