Who remember this movie. I'm watching as I'm writing this post. I've always love this moive. Make me wonder how simple thing were back than, not because it's a movie but because being young and 16 was the best time ever. I was not allow to go to the beach with my friends, but we did others things around the neighborhood. How about you which is your favorite movie?

I do remember that movie to a degree. I don't remember a lot about it, but I watched it once a while back. From what I can remember, I liked the movie.

it's mostly about teens and their how they were spending their summer. Four girls wanted to have the best summer, before going to back to school as seniors. And for Gidget, it turn out that she was the only one that found her frist love. She got pinned by moondoggie.

I have watched most of these movies too and times were a lot simpler then and being a teenager was about fun. Now days, they all want to grow up so quick. My 17 year old can't wait to turn 18 and I keep telling her that it doesn't matter wht age she is. She has worked since she was 14 and she is very mature and responsible:yet, she still seems so naive about things that I feel that she should be a lot more knowledgeable about. What happened to kids being outside and having fun? I have an 11 year old that acts as though she has to have something structed to do with several friends or there is nothing to do. I always found things to do.

When we were growing up it was always me and my sister. We were not allowed to go outside until the mid afternoon. We had lots of crayon and coloring books, we also played with the real jacks. Sine i was a tom boy, I use to play with my marbles. Your right kids now a days are trying to grow up so fast. Your daughter is very mature, she started working at an early age. It was more simply back in our days. thanks for the respond

We use to go to the movies to watch all of the movies with Annette and Frankie, Beach blanket bingo, Beach blanket. And the bathsuit, they were so cute. all the dresses they wore. How they use to get all dressed up to go shopping. And the guys, nice hair cut, shirt with a tie. thanks for posting. These kids are missing out on so much. Like George Lopez, put it, They would not last one day in our time.

I saw some of those gidget movies when I was a kid. Those were really innoccent times and they seemed that way in the movies. I think somebody like sally fields was gidget. I dont think it was really her but it was a young actress who resembled her and was similar in alot of ways. I didnt know you could still get your hands on a gidget movie actually.

We bought the movie, its call SUNCOAST MOVIES. you can also it online. Sally fields was the second Gidget. Sandra Dee was the first one. I didn't like that followed. they should have kept Sandra Dee for the rest of them. Gidget goes to Rome and some other ones. ohhhh moondoggie, is so cute. they use to be a lot more good looking guys back than too, huh.
