Tell me this: Do you spend less time on Facebook now that you use myLot?

I do. I used to be a complete Facebook addict; spending time reading my friends' profiles, profiles of people who weren't my friends but who I vaguely know (ie. spying, I guess!), and profiles of people that I've never even met, who were perhaps friends of friends of friends! As well as looking at their photos. I found it endlessly interesting, finding out about different people, a bit like watching Big Brother (which I don't, incidentally, do any more!)
If this discussion is starting to sound slightly disturbing, then you'll be pleased to know that since I've discovered myLot I've hardly have any time for Facebook any more. I don't even get the chance to take my turn on Scrabulous, or see all my friends' status updates!
I'm sure I'm not the only Facebook to myLot defector!

i do have facebook, but i didst use it that much.. i found that people prefer to only send a poke or a drink or kiss or u see so and so has a crush on you and so on.. BUT i will say since i discovered mylot a week ago, i am hooked and it has taken my time away from msn and so on.. infect i not even been in msn today and thats a miracle especially for a Friday night lol

Yes, when I first started using Facebook, everyone was just poking eachother and trying to turn eachother into vampires. etc.. which was kind of annoying, but then the novelty wore off, and it became more of a way of just keeping in touch with my friends. Now that myLot is so addictive (as you've found too, lol!) I'm finding it harder and harder to do this, which is quite sad!
Seems like it's taking you away from msn too.. It's very powerful!

this become so addictive that last night i didn't go sleep until 4am, no msn, only here haha.. well i am in a race with a friend here, see whom can get to 200 posts first.. lol we keep going ahead of each other at the moment haha.. its fun

mandy... u will win.. but open ur msn sometimes.. missing u..subject facebook? i think so bad facebook... i didnt understand mylot yet.. teach me..... i think looking beter then facebook..i have to learn firsy how wil i do here...ur status offline? we can write somethigs.. u can teach me mylot....

Though I'm enjoying mylot, I still have time for facebook. The first thing I do in the morning is to check my facebook... But we have to admit, myLot is also a good site and I'm getting hooked to it.
