Yes, it is true. Obama is going to sponsor a NASCAR race car! Great idea. Read about it here. http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?contentId=6965256&version=1&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.2.1 Will sponsoring a race car help Obama win the Presidency by convincing people that in actuality, Obama is 'just folks' like the rest of us? Can you picture Obama with a 6 pack of beer in front of the large screen plasma TV watching 'his' car make left turns? Will it make a difference?

Obama and Nascar not a good fit. I cannot see Jimmy Bob and his cousin Bo are going to cheer for the Obama car. Maybe McCain could pull this off, but not Obama. This could actually hurt Obama. What if his car did horrible everytime out on the race? What if the car wrecked, imagine the news report, Obama wrecked.

Hmmm... you cause me to think of another potential big problem. What if the other drivers decide to give the Obama car a hard time? Bump him, push him into the wall and every other little trick, only more so than normally would happen?
