red ants,yes-but never a black ant. i would just get some over the counter bacitracin,any antibiotic cream.

Hi cream97! I have never been bitten by a black ant and I never knew that black ants bite. I only knew that red ones are the nasty ones that bite. I could only offer a home remedy for you which is pouring vinegar on the affected area. Yeah, I have. It sucks, right? The pain isn't excruciating, but it's enough to get your attention, lol. I was in the car once (not driving luckily) when I was bitten. The little bump will only last a day if you use something right away. Try some cream and use peroxide to dry it up.

yes, and it is really painful, not for too long but but painful... if i had something like that, i would just take out that pus by the help of a needle, and everything's fine.....

Hello! What is a black ant? I mean, I thought all ants were black, hahaha! I know it must be a certain kind of ant. Once I was bitten by a big ant, one that hurts a lot. We know it as Saúva, it's kind of red, and it really makes you feel a lot of pain. Now, how are they called in the English language I don't know. I just know that there are black small ants, black big ants, and this red ant. I have only been bitten by this red one. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

I didnt know that ants bit. I sometimes get bit alittle bit by soemthing if I have my feet on the floor. I thought the dog may have brought in a flea or something. I wonder if it could have been an ant? I hope you will be able to get relief for your itching and that the infection you have does not spread. i wish you well. Insects are on fun.

Benadryl will help with the itching and the inflammation. If it don't gop away in a few days or gets worse I would see a doctor.

A little first aid cream might help You may want to have it looked at as well by a doctor if the bump and the puss don't go away soon.
