why do you want to learn a foreign language?
i believe china will be the next super power in the world
because the idiots in the us congress are driving this nation into bankruptc
it is probably a good idea to learn the language of your new masters?
at the very beginning
it was set as a class in school for english
i am not sure if without that course
i guess i wo not learn it
unless i find its significance later in the work
anyway to study a foreign language can improve the persobal competition ability
it is funny but ture
i started leaning english wit because we had such kind of course set up in our middle schol schedual
however
i did have a great curiosity and interest to learn a foreign language which in my oppinion is reality something
new beofer i went to middle school
then i started to learn japanese in college
i choice it as my second foreign language because my chinese name sound like a little bit japanses flavour
however
compare to the english learning
i did a had job in learning japanese
since i did not have a good start
of learning japanese
i can still not manage it now
however for english
i can see use it to communicate here on the mylot at least
thelanguae is for communicatetion to learn things that we can never understand it er do not know the language
i think not only the age of leaning a language is important
but also how well you begin leaning a new language is also quite imprtant

I understand what you mean by knowing different languages is good for competition, but I think you mean job wise. I know two languages at the current time. I know English and Vietnamese. I can't read or write in Vietnamese, but I can understand very well and speak it good enough to get by. I started learning English early, when I was in elementary school. I want to learn other languages because it is always helpful to know other languages. I especially want to know Spanish, because where I currently live there are a lot of Hispanic and it's hard for me to find a job without know this language. I remember learning in High School but it wasn't very fluent enough to remember. I want to also learn different languages, because I plan on traveling and I want to be able to communicate with people from all the different places.
