In the place where i live the most common bird is the crow. Whenever i come out to feed my kid atleast two crows would come down to eat any spills. Here crows are so common and sometimes their insistent cawing gets on my nerves. And there are people who feed the crows every day... When i keep some grains for the other little birds, these crows come swooping down and eat them all up. The most common animal found is the dog. Dogs are very common here. There are so many street dogs here and they multiply so fast. It is dangerous for children to go out alone in the roads even if it is for a short distance only. These dogs gang up on people and harrass them. Some children have been bitten badly too. I love squirrels and other small birds like the myna or the finch( i think it is the name of that double tailed small black bird which we call as rettai vaal kuruvi) or the cute and witty sparrows. Among animals i love cats and can stand horses. They are unobtrusive... So which is the most common bird or animal found in your place? do you like it or not...

There are a lot of starlings, some pigeons, seagulls (though we are nowhere near the sea), magpies and tree sparrows. We also have bluetits, house martins, greenfinch, wrens, blackbirds, robins and I have seen jays. At night there are bats in the garden, we have grey squirrels and a few times we've had frogs and hedgehogs. Apart from the farm animals in nearby fields, there are foxes. I was driving one night when a fox ran across the road in front of me ...followed by a badger! I've also seen a deer whilst i was out walking one morning and there is a llama farm a few miles away.

I've only seen a deer once locally and the foxes are more urban. We do have a lot of beautiful countryside around though.

Hello naseeha, I live in south Georgia, right next to the Okeefenokee swamp. We see a lot of snakes in our yards. We also see a lot of gators in ponds and brackish rivers around here. Needless to say, I'm terrified of snakes but have had to get my husband to shoot the snakes. We could get in trouble for shooting a gator though.

Hi friend, just like you. Our commonly seeing bird is crow, the scavanger. I think it is the first bird which we are familiar with. Dogs are hardly seen in roads. Our corporation have taken action against these stray dogs. They come once in week. Thanks

Prairie dogs and cows! Both are slaughtered one for food, one for growth.
