cat and mouse

I was just replying to someone's discussion about the rising cost of cat food (hi Pye!) when I heard my kitty Harmony meow on the front porch. So I went to let her in, but she didn't want to come in... she was looking at something on the half-wall... I had a look, too, and it was a mousie, just clinging to the brick, probably thinking, "If I don't move, maybe she won't see me". So I asked Harmony if she was going to give the mouse a nudge, and she did. She just touched the end of the mousie's tail. Mousie moved a little bit but was sticking with the don't move theory. After a bit, Harmony nudged the mouse again, and this time the mouse took off. Then, and only then, did Harmony chase it. Definitely not Itchy and Scratchy...

I just hate it when they honor me with a catch especially when the catch is still alive and struggling to get free.. It hurts my heart! xoxoxoxoxoxo

Well, I'm sure Harmony didn't catch Mousie... she didn't come back licking her lips, and certainly didn't bring back a trophy!
