Karaoke

well I've been a karaoke king since I learn to sing...i love to sing with my friends a lot and when I'm drunk I usually have a lot of guts to sing in front of many people...

I beleive that people karaoke because they want to sing and enjoy theirselves. I usually go to KTV to sing their hearts out and to express their feelings of the day. I like to karaoke happy songs because of their nice and expressive tone. I like to sing english songs because the chinese karaoke songs are using complicated chinese characters. I would go to a karaoke sudio every once a month to have a pary.

Over the years I've collected a lot of karaoke 8-track tapes,cassettes,vinyl records and CD+G discs. Of course now with the computer and midi files and kar files available along with free players like VanBasco .... there are a lot of choices. I've spent a lot of money on karaoke mixers, players, microphones etc.... but, it's been fun! I personally spend most of my time practicing and recording at home. I used to enjoy going out to the local bars on karaoke night ... but at the time smoking was allowed...and being a non-smoker, I had a difficult time enjoying myself. Now that smoking is banned...maybe it's time to return. Actually, I enjoy listening more than participating. On the rare occasion you will hear someone with a great voice...rare but it does happen!

I've never actually participated in karaoke but I have gone to watch others a lot and I find it is the best time. Especially when drinking ina bar because there is nothing better to laugh at than people who are drunk and tone-deaf...
