We had a couple of incidents here in my city yesterday of some miscreants who were trying to incite some communal disturbances. They had desecrated some places of worship, just trying to incite communal tensions within the city. The trouble started but was fortunately brought under control by the police.
These kind of incidents lead to a disruption in our daily activities , destruction of property both public and private and also harm to other human beings.
I really wonder often as to what gets people to think and act in this way of trying to incite people communally ?
If they have strong views on something, there are other more peaceful ways of expressing it.
What are views on this ?

There are definitely more intelligent ways to express ourselves than by resporting to violence. AS they say, the pen is mightier than the sword for one; and acting this way also diverts attention away from their cause and onto their acts instead which is obviously counterproductive. In many instances I think that there are more powerful people behind these acts that would never dare to show their own faces at all. They prey on the uneducated and those that are without and use them as pawns to incite violence and supposedly further their causes. Gandhi has proven that peaceful protest can move mountains and that the quieter one can be, the louder the collective voices that are ultimately heard!
I say that there should be zero tolerance for people that act in this manner. Take them down, take them out and obliterate them into the ground. It may sound harsh, but to take action that destroy's other people's property and disrespects sacred buildings etc is not acceptable in any sense, shape or form. Maybe if authorities were to send a so0lid message by being far more forceful, then incidents such as these would reduce and they would have no choice but to seek more civilized means to get theri messages across.
