Hi everyone! Do you sometimes find it difficult in finding a discussion that interests you? And that you can't find any of your friends starting a new discussion? Me, like now I'm having a hard time looking for an interesting discussion. I can't even find my friends. I think its been several days now and no friend of mine has been making a new discussion. I think its unusual that it seems they all aren't logging in on mylot these past few days. Maybe they're just busy on some important things. Do you sometimes experience these things? What do you do if you can't find any interesting discussions? Do you log out or just keeps on looking for discussions to respond to?

I would do just what you have done and that is start a discussion. Another thing I do is think of a few words and put them into search and see what comes up and then read some of those discussions.

Thats good! Setting goals here in mylot keeps us from getting bored. I also don't give up easily. I don't log out. Once I turn on my computer I don't turn it off until sleeping time. I do something else like a house chores and check on mylot every now and then until a new discussion comes out. Keep mylotting!

I just log into myLot when I have much time to spare. That is very rare. So when I decide to visit myLot, there are so many discussions that I can respond to. My girlfriend has been telling me why she has not been actively participating in discussions as much as she did before. She told me that there are more instances that discussions are not interesting and that the site is flooded with one-liner discussions that she is not really attracted to.

I know what you mean. I go through this process quite often. I usually don't like to respond to the ones that already have 20 or more responses unless I really want to respond. I search for a while but after a little bit I give up and I would end up leaving. But I would come back in a hour or so thinking there should be some new ones up. I try the ones with no response. Some people have little short questions that I find easy to respond to, so I just go for it that way they have a response to their discussion.

Hi there! Often times discussions with no response is where I find interesting topics to respond to. It also helps those members with no responses yet on their discussions. Thanks and keep on mylotting!

Well I usually do find some interesting things to comment on, I mean there are so many discussion here that I am bound to find something that is really cool or even moderately interesting enough to participate in. I think it is a matter of searching sometimes too until you are able to find something worth taking a look at. I know there maybe quite a few that just seem like not very appealing to some but sometimes you have to read on perhaps there are others in that discussion that have commented and said something interesting and you may wish to respond back to them.

For me, when I can't find an interesting discussion to respond to I do one of the following things: I either start a discussion that would interest me and I think others may be interested as well or I move on to my other online activities. So if I get bored on mylot (which to be honest happens but not all that often) I simply move to the more interesting places :P Greener pastures they might be called LOL. But I'm not desperate enough to stay and wait through the boring moments on mylot...

It very seldom happens that I can't find a discussion that I would not want to participate in. In those rare times though, I stay online and create my own discussions.

I must say that I often experience this. What I mean is that there are times when I can't find interesting discussions. I don't like it when this happens especially when I have much time to spare for myLot activities. Well, what I do is to think of good topics so that I can start my own discussions. Or, I would also check on the discussions posted by my friends that I have not responded to but are interesting. Then, I would respond to those discussions. If I don't see any that interests me or if most of the topics are those that I do not know much about, I would just log-out and check my mails or browse other sites. After few minutes, I would log-in again and check if there are discussions that I can respond to.

iskayz outof all the many, many many discussions here how can you not find one that interests you? I go back and forth between all the selections until I do find one that interests me and then zap that one and respond, also sometimes I go back and reread one that I did not think I would be interested in and find that it has some possiblities in it.I have found my friends have a lotof discussions myself.

Yup, sometimes there isn't a topic in sight that I'd like to respond to. I usually do a small bit of searching and then log off and go to my other websites or just go do something else around the house for a while.

I'm glad that you ask because I go crazy when I can't find a discussion. I just go and find good articles sp I can discuss over there. I still log in when I can't find a discussion. It can get fusterated when you can't find a discussion.
