Do you still bring your own pillow and blanket when you are travelling?

This sounds like a kid's behavior, lol. Last month, I went to a trip with my colleagues, one of them even brought her own pillow and blanket to the hotel. This was shocking, because I thought was not necessary. She explained that this was for hygiene purposes. But she still slept on the hotel's bed, lol. I could understand that but it was so troublesome, some more that time was a short trip. We just slept at the hotel for one night but the things she brought like going to have a long vacation, lol. So what do you think about this? Will you still bring your pillow and blanket when you are traveling? Do you have this habit too? Please do share with me.

No, I don't. Its just a hassle to bring those things along. It will just make the luggage bulky. Those are unnecessary. However, if I have a baby that will travel with me and I don't know the place that I am going to, then I will bring the things for my baby, but not for me or for the other older family members.
