In 5.12 Earthquake,I realize they are important for me.

As all we known,5.12Earthquake happend in China.That's terrible and scary for a long time.I live in Chengdu,a city in South-east of China.When this disaster happend ,i were at a bank in Chengdu,Sichuan.Then shake stopped.They first thought in my head is whether my family is safe.I tried every way to contact my family members.But after the disaster,all the communication didn't work.
All the people arround me were scared and did the same thing like I did,worrying family members and friend. At this moment,We all realized how important for us in our lifes,even before that for long time we didn't say that.
Fortunately,they are safe.But for other heartbroken persons,the day was doomsday.It took their family members away from them.Though the TV new,at the disaster area,there are tears,sad eyes,scary people everywhere.This is sad news.
My family then stayed together to take care eachother for several days after the disaster.
As we can do,to give a big hug to the people,who is important in you life,to let them know you care them and tell them "I love you".

the 5.12 earthquake is one of my terrible memorys.when the earthquake happened I was in chengdu,too.when i ran to a safe place,the first thing i did was to contact my girlfriend.we are in a same university.finally i found her ,she is safe.but that was a terrible scene only 50Km far away from Chengdu.at the same time,we are all a family.

Thanks goodness that your and your friend were safe,while the terrible disaster happened.We have the same memory,too much. Fortunately,Chengdu is ok,but the scary atmosphere influenced us.We had to sleep on the streets,a lot of people slept at the parks,at the squares with tabernacles.Anyway,i was touched by something and somepeople.People help each other.They are not neighbors,they are family.They are not volunteers,soldiers or doctors,they are brothers and sisters.

Thanks goodness you and your friend were safe after the disaster happened.We have same memory,too much.The scary atmosphere influenced us,although Chengdu is ok. Anyway,I was so touched by many people and things,People's generosity and helping each other.At that moment,They are not neighbors,they are family.They are not soldiers,volunteers or doctors,they are our brothers and sisters.Really,i was touched by all the impressive things everyday. You can feel what i feel,Xiaomingmak,yes,you really do.

This is such sad news for your country 
My heart goes out to everyone who has had a loss in any small way or large way . Life is just unfair , and can be very scary . I am so glad to hear you and your family are okay . Most of been the worst feeling in the world not knowing . May peace be found soon .

That is very tragic incident too. I was still in college when we were hit by a strong one that many in the north of my place was heavily damage. I think we were lucky to be far from the epicenter although we felt it too but very mild already. I was in the 3rd floor of our school building and everybody panic there after the quake. At first, we all thought that we feel dizzy and then when we look out of the window out building was swaying back and forth. There was not much damage in our city as we were far but in the north were it was felt was so strong that many hotels collapsed and even those that were in the coastal areas submerge for several days. It si so frightening to experience that incident again.

Thanks goodness that you and your family stayed alive in the earthquake that happened in South West China. It must have been so scary to feel the ground shake when you were at the bank in Chengdu. Yes, it made you realize how important the members of your family are. I feel sorry for all the people that got hurt in the earthquake and I hope that they will all recover soon. I am not surprised that there were many tears and upset when some people got killed during the earthquake. This is terrible news for their family members. My home country does not suffer earthquakes but I am keen on traveling and have been to places where they can occur. Good luck in the future and I hope that you and your family stay safe.

It was a really terrible earthquake in these recent years,not only shake the earth but also people's heart. From the news, we saw many people lost their homes,and beloved families. It was really heart-broken to know that how cruel this earthquake was. It was two months ago which everything changed. We cannot say anything about the past anymore but what can we do now is only be cheer up and cherish what we are having now. Maybe god wants us to appreciate and give more cares to things surrounding us.

yes,it's a disaster.people in sichuan suffered a lot,especially the people in wenchuan,because they have lost their hometown!
now,people all over the world is doing whatever they can to help the people of sichuan.Chinese goverment also try their best to save the people of sichuan.this disaster makes chinese people more unity.and the olympic games held next month must be a great success.

Yes, it was really unfortunate what happened in your country but. Thank God that you are safe as well as your loved one and all those who survived. It's sad but it's true that during those moments when you think that someone dear to you, you may lose that person forever, it's a scary feeling. Then, you will realize that they are important to you when you're about to lose them.
I agree with you. In our own little ways, let's appreciate those whom we love and those that are important to us. It is uncertain what could happen in the next few days, or even minutes. Let's show them that we love them. We will eventually leave them or they will leave us. It's inevitable. But before that time comes, what matters is that you've made them special and so are you to them. Take care my friend.

Its best to practice with everyone knowing for them to run to any open areas and than to turn their attention to watch for the ground opening from there on til things stops. Good year round practice for staying in tip top shape. Plus this helps as mention for trying to worry less about someone at a distant and against the earthquake trying to stun everything into not having their own motion, which is helping to keep you inside dangerous places.

Yes, people all over our country has learned the lesson, life is important,not only for ourselves, but also for those we care about, our family, friends~ Glad that you survive this earthquake, cause many others in Sichuan have lost their precious lives. So if god lets you live, then live your life happily and to the fullest, just as a new-born guy

yes, that's why it is important to let our loved ones know that they are loved. we should always tell them that and show our appreciation to them... before it's too late.
