We all know we should have a will, but what about the other loose ends?

I don't have a will yet but plan to make one very soon. I do, however, have other little things done, one of which is a list of passwords and user names to all my accounts on the internet, including this one!
I thought that if I died, I would rather not drop out of sight suddenly. I would like someone in my family to be able to let people know that I've moved on and close things out. Shut down my paypal account, my online banking, my guitar forums that I love and have made so many friends on, things like that.
Have you done anything like this? If you died suddenly, would anyone be able to tell us or would they have no idea you even posted at myLot?

I guess someone could get into my myLot account as I leave it logged in at home, but there's plenty of other places where no-one would have a clue.
I keep meaning to make a list of all my passwords and so on to leave with someone. Even if they're not ever needed because something happens to me, it would be handy for those times that I forget them!

I've made sure everyone in the family knows where my list is. It's a good way to tie up loose ends!

Thanks! I was thinking about what I might have to leave my children. It's not much but they should be able to access my online earnings so I thought of this.
