I would like to get some opinions on this photo- helpful criticism is always accepted=D
Background info- We went into the woods and made mud, splatted it on her. We actually worked our way around some things, it looks as if she is covering herself from exposure, though she is actually wearing strapless coverings, with the angle it makes you assume there is nothing but her arm covering her. It was cool to finally get a shot that could deceive:) I hope no one here has a problem with that?
Camera- Olympus E-500
Lens- Olympus 14-45 mm with manual focusing
As you can see I took it in black and white, and I tried to work with the lighting, using a light flash and natural sunlight. I didn't get my complete desired effect though.
Thanks for looking!
By the way, I do not use photo editing of any kind.

I couldn't find the photo, but as to combining flash with natural light, use the fill flash setting or on a 35mm camera, set the flash expossure time at 1/60 (the usual flash speed setting) and then change your asa to say from 100 to 400 asa. That way you tone down the flash while keeping the natural light. Try different asa settings and experiment with it to see which gives the best result. Another way.would probably be to set the flash asa setting to a higher one than the film.
Let me know how it turns out !

Sadly for some reason my picture didn't load :( I posted a different picture in photography more recently that I took that day which doesn't require as mush explaining, but you can see what I may have thought about. Thanks for the helpful tips!
