I uploaded the new pair of shoes i bought two weeks ago... They may look very nice... very innocent and comfortable to wear... but mind you... they tortured my feet during the first time that i wore them... After a week... i am wearing them again for the second time... i wonder how someting that looks so nice can put any person to such pain... What can you say about my new pair of shoes?...

The second time i tried them... i put band aid on the part where it hurt the most... and wore thick stockings... and that was quite bearable... i think the third time will be a charm... and i can't call them new shoes anymore... thanks for the response...

The following is a saying passed down from ancestors such that if you do not want your shoe to bite you as described in your discussion, you have to bite the shoe before wearing it and I think it is quite true because I have tried it before and it really doesn't create any annoyance to my feet for the first time and for a few months or years later, it starts to worn out.

I guess the more innocent it looks, the more torturing it is! *laughs* Your new pair of shoes look really nice. I have been tortured by new shoes a lot and I am not surprised anymore. I just hope that it wouldn't be too bad each time. I guess that's why I hate buying new shoes because every time I got my feet hurt really bad.

Well, they don't hurt anymore... so i can't call them new... they are now considered old shoes... and now they are very comfortable to wear... i guess we all have to go through the torture... well, it would be sometime before i buy new shoes... thanks for the response...

Oh, yes, those look like torture to me. They have no arch support. I have heard it said that going barefoot is bad for the arches, but I never have any trouble barefoot, but f I wear shoes without good arch support, I feel it very soon. Someday you will be retired like me and able to wear comfy sandals almost everywhere.

Maybe they just need a little time to be broken in. They might turn out to be the most comfortable pair of shoes you own. The pain we go through to look pretty. LOL

Hello aseretdd, I am responding to you through my e-mail notification and so, I don't have a chance to see your new pair of lovely shoes. Once I posted the response, I will check closely how the pair looks like *smiles* I do buy expensive and cheap shoes and I have less problem with both. Maybe, the time when you buy them plays an important role. Some said it is good to buy in the morning and some say it is good if you buy a new pair in the afternoon. As for me, I usually buy my shoes during my lunch break or after office hour where I have the whole time to make my decision. I don't go for too expensive one and if it is cheap, I will see whether it is worth a buy or not.

I bought my old pair of shoes just last year... and they were also on sale... and yes... they also tortured my feet... but not like how my new pair torture them a week ago... i thought they were really comfortable when i bought them... and they fit just right... bur after walking for a few hours... i started having blisters... and they became wounds after a short while... I always buy shoes in the afternoon... because they said that is the best time to buy them... thanks for the response...

It is terrible to buy a new pair of shoes and then discover, after wearing them, that they kill your feet. It has happened to me, and I had to suffer through them for awhile. Some I have just put up and never worn again, or given away. I have to have some sort of arch support in my shoe. Your shoe doesn't look like it has any arch support, but then, I'm only looking at a picture. I like a soft, unlined leather for my shoes, but you can't always find that in a particular shoe you need. I do try to make sure that is what I get in a walking shoes. Dress shoes aren't worn that long at a time, so they aren't as bad as the walking shoes, if you happen to get a pair that isn't as comfortable as they should be. But if they tortured me, they'd be gone!

I am wearing them right now... but since i haven't done any long walking just yet... there is no pain... so i would have to wait until later when i walk home... i hope they wont hurt anymore... since i already put bandaid on the wound area... and i am also wearing stocking... i can't afford to give them away... so i just have to bear with them for now... thanks for the response...
