Do you think the mark of exam is important?

In my country,students and their parents think the mark of exam is very important.Through many students hate exam,they still have to have it and try their best to get a high mark.What's the situation in your country?Please tell me.

Hi. Its very much the same here. I too don't fit that nicely in this kind of education system,but then only exams tell others how much you know or don't know, so have to study hard for them. I love practical sessions of all most all subjects and hate exams.
