Hi. I don't know much about having a website but I want to say that you should put those things on your site that you want to be there and not what others want. There are so many website now a days, so no matter what ever topic you chose there will be at least one or two sites of that type already existing on net. People will come to your site if you give them something you are good at then others.

If you need to make a web site,plesa dont put much annoing scripts on the page.And dont put more then necessary of active content.See my web site to take alook.I build it for one night by myself.

In my opinion ,you should tell us that why you want to start a web site. It's your interest? You want to get extra earning by it? or you just want to communicate with friends in it? By the way, I like to look for everything I need by internet.
