I did a little research on this picture and it is a sculpture by Australianartist Patricia Piccinini called "The Young Family". I guess she was trying to come up with what a human/dog hybrid would look like. It sure is creepy.

Knowing that it's a sculpture and not a photoshopped image or a real dog takes some element of the creepy away... but the sculptor definitely achieved what she was aiming for!

Ugly dog - can this be true?
That is definitely not natural. either the pic is doctered or some mad scientist fooled around with DNA or something. What disturbs me more is that the mad scientist version is not so science-fiction anymore, all strange things is happening in labs and breeding houses all over the world. the pic attached is also quite sick...

Thanks for the info, my son had sent me the pic, I almost didn't save it, it was so creepy looking. I am glad I saved it. It has been fun reading others reactions to the dog. I think it looks more human than pig.
