I happened to mention to a friend that I liked the Everly Brothers..particularily their song "Ebony Eyes"...it's my all time favorite. They gave me the cd with their greatest hits including...All I have to do is dream....every song on the cd is wonderful! Have you ever listened to the Everly Brothers and which is your favorite song?

I love the Everly Brothers. 
Ebony Eyes is such a good but sad song. There are so many that I like of there's and so many I'm sure I can't even think of right now but I can think of Take a Message to Mary, Til I Kissed you, All I Have To Do Is Dream and Devoted to You. Oh man, I need to check and see if I can find any good CD's at the store. I am so glad you brought this discussion up, I have not thought of them in so long.

They use to be a hot commodity years ago. I really enjoyed listening to them. One of my favorites is, "All I Have to do is Dream." Another was "Bird Dog." Their harmony was fantastic. As a teenager, I use to walk around with a transistor radio and listen to these guys and be in 7th heaven when they were singing.

I love all the Everly Brothers songs, I think they were the masters of harmony, even though they were not even talking to each other in their private lives they sure knew how to sing together...their music never dates, always sounds good...

Oh Jill, I love the Everly Brothers too and have every single one of their records on vinyl except believe it or not Ebony Eyes and that is my favourite. Not a lot of good on vinyl now though as I have no deck to play them on but great guys. That was just so lovely of your friend to give you the CD. I think I will have to go order one now too. Ellie :D

My two favorites are So Lonesome I Could Cry and All I Have To Do Is Dream. For some reason these two songs speak to me in a way that other songs have never done. Their singing is really haunting too.

I love the Everly Brothers. They bring back lots of memories of when I was dating my husband. The song 'All I have to do is Dream' was one of our favorites. I love to see them on television even now. I think their voices are about as good as they were back then. We do have some of their music, too, but only on records, not a CD.

There are three that I like , All I have to do is Dream,Cathy's Clown,and Bird Dog.I love their sound.

Well, yes, I have listened to the Everly Brothers many times. After all, I was born in the 50s! I like many of there songs, especially, "All I Have to Do is Dream" and "Bye Bye Love." Those are the 2 that come to minmd. Enjoy your CD, jillhill.

They were great, I grew up with their music. My favorite was Wake Up Little Suzie. My parents at that time even liked them.
