Who eat's the end's of the loaf?

I like the end piece of a loaf, also called the heel. It's just another piece of bread:) My daughter hates the heel, but then she doesn't seem to like the crust at all. Such a wimp she is!

No one in my family eats the ends so we always end up throwing them away. I don't know why it is that so many people hate the ends, but I will start eating them cus after all they are just the same like the rest of the loaf..

I've always eaten the ends. I can't find any reason not to - it's just like the rest of the loaf anyway.

My mom always taught us that the end of the loaf was supposed to be kept in the bag to keep the rest of the loaf fresh..but to my dad it was the favorite part! LOL....I do like eating it too especially if you toast it.

the ends are my favorite, I love them....My sister mom and I fight over them...lol

My hubby likes the heels. So I save them for him. I don't care for them myself. So it works out nicely.

Hie Pshiv, I don't mind having it, top or the bottom of the loaf of bread. And I love it especially when it's toasted with cheese or garlic butter, or even as a simple pizza like bread. My mum would prefer to steam them and have it when it's steaming hot as it's so soft and easy on her teethA stale bread would smell like a brand new fresh one too. Cheers,

Thats crazy I was thinking that earlier when I got some bread noone else eats the ends only me its great because you always know it will be there for you lol
