A Change of Career

From my current job as an online writer, I plan to pursue my real profession which is a teacher next year. I have a degree in education and I plan to resign from my present job (I stayed here for three years) and get a job as a high school teacher. This is because I want to practice my real profession and also because I think being a teacher is a great job for mothers and I am planning to settle down and get married next year. Besides I can still pursue a part time career as a writer. I hope the career move will be smooth as ever.

Hope it all goes well. You'll probably find your first year teaching challenging and have less time to write, but after time you'll get faster at lesson planning and marking. I have found my first few years as a teacher to take more time than I had imagined, but once I started teaching the same material a second time I found myself with more free time. One thing you can expect is that teachers certainly don't have a 9-5 job and your work will come home with you. Press through and know that all the work you put in during the first few years will be worth it.

I wish you all the best in your career and personal life. A teacher is a noble profession, and I admire you for being such. It is good to know that you are now considering to go into teaching. Teach and share what you have learned, instill it in the young minds, be a good teacher, so that the students will grow as good individuals, I know you can change a students life... for the better. Do it and keep on doing it.
