Have you ever confused two words in english that are very similar in spelling?

I just did it! I confused soups for soaps. English is my third language. First is portuguese, second spanish and now english. I had my moments and I always laugh about it. One time I needed a coach for an exercise in class and I went to the teacher and I said can you please give me a couch? I see many times this mistake: there and their.
So tell me about you. What is the two words that you have confused in english?

You seem to have a command of the language. Even native English speakers make such mistakes. Sometimes it is an easy mistake to make because there are so many words that are spelled similar and sound similar, such as there and their, as you mentioned. Some other common mistakes are your and you're, its and it's, role and roll, accept and except- two words which are very different but often used incorrectly.

Your English is very good considering it is a third language!
The most common mistake I see is 'you' and 'you're'.
It infuriates me to see even well-educated English speakers make this lazy error.
'Your' implies ownership, like 'your' dog.
@You're' means a short version of 'You are' as in 'You're taking the dog for a walk'.
I agree about their and there it's another common error.
