What you say about the liberation of Tibet. Dalailama is taking shelter in our country. Personally I like Budhism. Why not Chaina be patient with Tibetans? Afterall freedom is everyones right. Attacks on schools, disturbing the peace, why don't they understand? Aren't they human beings...killing or attempting to kill children....they are mentals.

I don't understand why you westerners are so believing what your media tell you. I am a Chinese, and I know better about Tibet than you, I think. Though I never go there, many of friends have been to Tibet. Unification is the most important thing to our country and people. Tibet is and will be always a part of China. We Chinese people will never allow Tibet to be independent just because of some people's dirty political purpose. In history, most of the Tibet population were slaves and there were only a few slave owners who controlled them, oppressed them and did countless cruel things to them(if you know the history, you should know this barbarity). Tibet didn't abolish slavery system untill Communist Party set it free(I believe you know what slavery means). Today's most Tibetans are these slaves' descendants, and they are grateful to Chinese government. So, what is Tibetans' "liberation"? How did you know that they not not feeling free now? Do you know what Tibetan people think about and want? However, the descendents of slave owners are thinking about getting back control power all the time and want to control and oppress ordinary Tibetans again. That's why they raised the riot happend in March 14th. Who attack on schools? who kill and attempt to kill children? And who disturb the peace? Please think seriously about what you are told and make it clear that what the truth is first before you say these words! One of my friend's relatives was hurt very badly by a rebel in the riot. These rebels burned local people's houses. They hit ordinary peole in streets with sticks and knives. They burned fire engines which were putting out the fire. They even assaulted ambulances and beat doctors and nurses in there...... As far as I know, armed police tried their best to put down the riot without hurting people. They were just being beaten by rebels without beating back so that a lot of policemen were hurt badly. They made a great contribution to protecting our peace. So tell me who are the mentals! (by the way, Dalailama is one of the descendants of slave owners, and is the biggest one). People I know including myself, always asking ourselves "is it true" when we get some information. Many young people in China don't so like Chinese main media in a way, because the media sometimes hide some information and don't let us know the truth, but they never twist the truth. Look at what your main media say. I don't want to try to change your opinion about China, but at least you should know the truth. If you really care about Tibet and want to the truth, you can visit the website: www.anti-cnn.com I like Buddhism, but I know not every monk is kind. I believe not trusting easily the superficies.

China waged a war with India in the 1960's and in this war China was allied with the United States while India was allied with the former Soviet Union. Tibet is the gateway between China and India and might be considered a strategic location. China cannot afford to let go of Tibet even if everybody says it is wrong.

No Tibetans to comment? I wish they too give me responses. I can understand the feelings of Chinese. They are very hard working, at the same time I like them more if they are understanding. I feel they are more softer than Pakistanis. I like Pakistanis if they do not encourage terrorism.

Hi, I hope my identity of Chinese doesn't disappoint you. Infact,I am already tired to quarrel with those foreigners who are shouting "free Tibet" every day. But this time I intend to post my opinion about Tibet on for you ,an Indian.. First,as for the war between China and India in 60s, I am not sure I know it well enough. But I dont agree on China was standing with America while the war, in fact, America has never truly supported China in anytime unless it had some profits they wanted to get from the war.I dont wanna tell who was right or wrong in that war, I just know there's no country on this earth will give up their domain easily, as well as India! Nowadays, India and China are developing their economics on the fast speed we have never seen before. It should be better that India and China to be friends and support each other than fight with each other. We don't need to suspect each other anymore, because we have the same profits on developing our economics and create a brand-new and friendly envirement. As far as Tibet and Tibetans, we Chinese have innumerable proofs to prove that Tibet has been a part of China since a thousand and three hundred years ago, as well as Taiwan Island. In addition, the crimes of the attacks on schools and disturbing the peace were committed by some bad Tibetans, those crimes were aiming at those Han people who living in Tibet, the most of victims were Han people. Those criminals attacked innocent Han people and killed them for no reason but because they are Han people. However,in the foreign media, the only news you could read was that "Many Tibatans were killed by Chinese troop/police for fighting for freedom". Oh my god~~Such brutish crimes could be described as "fighting for freedom"?! I can prove that Western told lie, because at that time I saw CNN news everyday for Taiwan Election. So I watched CNN telling lie and published some partial reports through my own eyes. I am not a Chinese Communist, I even hate them coz their bad aspects(I have to admit they are getting better).I dont support Communist but I support my country , I love China. Every time when it comes to topic of National unity, I will stand with my country leaders unhesitatingly! Because I dont wanna see my motherland to be apart again, she had once suffered too much hurt and invasion since 1840. Finally, I don't extravagantly hope that you will agree with me, but I just want you to kn viow a common Chinese people'view on Tibet.
