Your opinion on year 2012?

I don't think in 2012 it'll be the end of the world. Many people said in 1999 it was the end of the world but finally nothing wrong happened. I think life still goes on and we shall not worry about when it's the end of the world. We shall look forward to the future. I love China

I watched this on Tv and they are getting these idea;s from the writings of "Nastrodomius" I am not sure if i have spelled that right but hope you can relate,anyway it is in his predictions..Personally i do not go along with these beliefs because i believe in the Bible...The Bible says that No man knows when the end of time will come..Only your father above..This has been happening for years ,all these predictions,some people have went as far as to sell their homes and just give up because they thought that the end of the world was coming..I think i will just live my life as i normally do and put these thoughts behind me because regardless of what people think,it happens when God chooses for it to happen...

Given that people have been predicting the end of the world since shortly after the invention of fire, and none of them have been right yet, I'm loathe to take the word of a bunch of Mayans who didn't even see the collapse of their own civilization coming. Given they're talking about 'the end of the world', I doubt certain portions will be exempt. It's kind of an all or nothing thing.

Well i sure hope not I would love to see my children grow up and have children of their own. I am not very religious so I am not sure what is said and what is suppose to happen.

The end of the world? I thought it was supposed to be this year 2008 as predicted by Nostradamus!! A lot of his prophercies, don't know if I spelt that right! Well, they have come true! But here we are, we are still waiting for the end of the world and no one knows when it will be. The end of the world as far as I'm aware will be when our Sun finally decides to crash into the Earth!! Our planet is not going to be around forever and scientifically that's what is supposed to happen when the Sun finally burns out. Of course I definitely won't be around to see that! But, on second thoughts, if you have seen the news lately about what is going on in relation to Georgia and Russia! Well, this could trigger off an end of world scenario! The nuclear bombs could be released and the whole world could become involved once again. I belive Russia is seeking support from China at this time!!! Andrew
