well, what are most wars fought over? what are people fighting for? why are some groups killing other groups? the answer is simple, because some people don't like the way other people do things or the way they live their lives, or they have something they want. or they think EVERYBODY should be the way they are and have their same beliefs. but it doesn't work that way.......every person on this Earth is an individual, when their own thoughts, ideas, and beliefs. so if people would just understand everybody is different and accept that fact, this world would be a happier place.

Conflicts are almost always inevitable. It could happen to anyone, at anytime. This is because we have diverse points of views and may encounter misunderstandings with somebody else. We have lots of differences but in order to have a real peaceful world, it would be a very long shot, we all just have to set aside all our differences. Accept each other as we accept ourselves. There will be no more deprivation, no more racism, less conflicts and more understanding. It could be a near perfect world. But it isn't easy not all. Not even close. But there are people who want peace. Even how many there are of 'em, they do make a difference. Take care.

I know the world is filled with unrest and terror, because there are so many countries that are fighting over who knows what, and there are criminals everywhere committing all sorts of evil crimes, and then there is the escalating gas prices which makes everyones life difficult, but I think there is hope for the world,I think if there was a collar you could put on criminals to stop them from being criminals, and if there was a way to make fuel out of other things other than oil,and if there was a way to force countries to sign peace treaties then the world would be a paradise.

it is hard to even begin. what is paradise to me may not be the same for the next person. we strive on conflict and evolve (change/grow/mature/advance) through adversity. i think the point has already been made, we are all different people, not just by citizenship or faith or belief or values. each individual is different and i guess the way we could surpass all those differences and achieve peace, or even contentment if not full out happiness, is to learn to tolerate those differences and adjust to it. overcome differences by openness to ideas foreign and scary to us. the unknown is always feared and the knee-jerk reaction is either agression or defensiveness. listen more than speak. understand more rather than explain. it won't get us there immediately but it's a start.
