It happens to me when I have to catch up the garbage truck or else out litters would be left out. It seldom happens and in some rare cases, it's unavoidable.

I definitely don't walk around barefoot unless it is in my house. It's not safe for one and I just dont like the thought of it lol..I understand there may be some urgent cases where you probably can't find your shoes..but other than that, definitely not.

I don't, when I am at home, because I live i an anartment building in the middle o downtown but when my husband and I are at our place in Arizona, it's no problem for us o go barefoot, because we lie in the middle of a big yard with grass, a pool, and a hot tub, with lots of sidewalks.

I am always barefooted around the house. I keep a pair of shoes in my car if I go out that way I never forget to put shoes on before I go into the shops. I even prefer driving with no shoes on. For me being barefoot is being one with nature. Mind you I do have a lot of shoes in my cupboards :)

LOve the name which sort of goes with this theme here. I have been stung from stepping on a bee while barefooted. But I bear with it as I love being shoeless most times when I am outdoors. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I am often barefooted in the summer time. I love the feeling of being without shoes. If I go outside I put on sandals though. There are too many hazards around here to not wear shoes outside. I will go on the deck or the porch without shoes though. Barefoot to me is like the ultimate freedom. I really enjoy it and am happy when i am shoeless.

I tend to go about barefoot. I'll walk down the sidewalk barefoot, and even sometimes venture onto the blacktop if I am getting the mail or something. However, if I am going somewhere that requires shoes or something, I tend to forget to take them off, even if I come back home, because I forget that I have them on in the first place. I think I am comfortable either way, with or without shoes. If I leave the house to go to the store at the end of he the street, sometimes I go barefoot if I am wearing pants that are baggy enough to hide my big feet.

I do a lot of my gardening barefoot actually. Unless I need to dig then I wear shoes. But I love being barefooted when I am outdoors. I wash my feet a few times at least a day from running around like this. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I don't know if it is because I am part hillbilly or what, but I hate having shoes on in my house! Even when I go outside, I am always barefoot, unless it is doing something that requires shoes. I have mowed lawn barefoot and everything else. My carpet is white, so I am also always washing my feet to avoid any carpet stains. I know it is weird..lol

Yes, very often because I tend to do stuffs that involves getting myself wet and I don't like to get my shoes or slippers wet especially if I am going to wear them for a long time later. Sometimes I feel that wearing them is a fuss because I go in and out of my house frequently and wearing shoes inside the house is not something my family likes. Its ok in the washroom but not in the other rooms.

I would rather be barefoot anyday. :-)I do not like to waer shoes, however, I will not go into public places barefoot because I think that it is just rude and most places will not let you in if you do not have on shoes, If I can get away with it I will wear flip flops or sandals. When I have to wear shoes I take them off as soon as I get home.

I'm almost always barefoot. The only time I wear shoes (usually flip flops) is when I go to the store or a friend's house.

Hi I often walk around at home bare footed and if I am just popping to a neighbours I will often hobble across the path. In general I don't tend to go barefoot outside, as I never know what I might tread on. Saying that though, if I have had a few drinks and my shoes are giving me blisters, which has happened a few times, I will then brave it. I was in Cumbria last week and we had a 10 minute walk between pubs while we out celebrating and my shoes I had bought that morning were really hurting my feet, so I slipped them off and trotted along barefoot. I had drunk about 6 pints of Guinness by this time though, so I was feeling brave. I did notice up there how much cleaner the streets are compared to here though so this was a bonus!

Uh, I was born barefoot and often even go out in the snow that way. I'm a country girl and like the feel of grass between my toes, sand under my feet and even squishy mud. I'm not so far back in the woods that I don't have running water so the dirt doesn't bother me, I know what baths are for. Barefootin' - Johnny Rivers or Wilson Pickett song! Yee Haa!

I am always barefoot. I hate wearing socks and but will put some on if I am going to the store because tennis shoes are more confortable. I always keep a pair of flip flops by my bed and another pair by the front door so if their is a emergency I can slip on a pair of shoes. But there are tiimes when I end up having to go barefoot.

Well, WATARIKENJI, when I lived in midwestern U.S. I did occasionally walk out on the driveway or sidewalk or our deck with bare feet. However, I now live in Florida and there is a little pest called a fire ant. And, one must never go barefoot houtdoors down here because you might get bit by a fire ant. And boy, does it sting! And the itching is absolutely unrelenting. Believe me, you do not want to get a fire ant bite. So, for this reason, I never go outdoors without at least my flipflops on my feet. Take care.

when i was a kid I used to always walk around bare-foot. I loved it! even on dirty or rocky roads and my feet were so used to it that i was able to walk and even run on the roads! but my mom would always yell at me to wear my shoes. she would always tell me i would end up flat footed if i didn't lol and i'm not sure if i did or not? I hate going outside without shoes or flip flops now though.. and i can't walk on rocky roads anymore as it'll hurt my feet too bad but if i am just going out on the patio.. i sometimes go bare-foot but i will usually end up going back in to get my flip flops. lol

There is not much that grosses me out, but one thing that does is dirty...dirty feet. Usually they are a result of barefeet and marching around without socks or shoes. It's not very healthy for one and two, it looks nasty. Not to mention it is not an easy thing to clean. Whenever possible, foot coverings of any sort are crucial.
