One Hour Photo

This is an older movie. I just picked it up to send to a troop and his friends in Iraq. I was wondering if there are any other movies anyone can suggest for me to send for them to watch while they are overseas. I don't want chick flicks...something that is entertaining and will take their minds off what's going on around them. I would love any suggestions!

Hi Jill, I can't give you any ideas on this at all at the moment but when I go into work tonight I will ask the marines there what films they like to watch and will bring the answers back to you then. I think it is great that you are doing this for them. Well done you. Ellie :D

Hi Jill, Late reply I know but they weren't very forthcoming in suggesting films, they did all agree that they would love to see some of the latest blockbusters so any thing fairly new packed with action adventure and a bit of comedy within, one even said Moulen Rouge as a complete escape away film, they all want to see the new Batman movie and some said the original cult movies like Resovoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Blade and the Matrix series. I guess anything goes really LOL. Ellie :D

i'd suggest a comedy, anything that will make them laugh will keep there mind off of things at least for a little while. I personally don't like "one hour photo" it's weird for one thing but i was disappointed, i like robin Williams but i hate when he plays a serious role.

you never seen it? well i'll summarize it for you, robin Williams works at a one hour photo, and becomes obsessed with this lady that comes in every week to get her pics developed, he makes a copy of all her pics with out her knowing, keeps them for himself and wallpapers them on him wall at home. well she's married and when he finds out that her husband is having an affair he becomes creepy and stocks them, he becomes violent. it's not really all that great of a movie, sorry that you have to go find another one but atleast you found out before sending it.

Is "One Hour Photo" a comedy? I can't make any movie suggestions because I rarely go to the movies or rent any. We have all the movie channels on cable so I can stay busy watching some of the older ones that I haven't seen. I would think the troops would enjoy funny movies. Anything to take their minds off what is going on today. Do you send all dvd's? What a great idea and I commend you.
