Hi fellow mylotters from the Philippines. I just would like to ask if you actually need to verify your card with paypal. Because I don't have any credit or debit card that are visa, mastercard, American express or discover.Have you receive your payment through paypal if you're here from the Philippines?

Hi magojordan, 1.You have to apply eon visa electron online at unionbankph.com it took 5 days workings day for manila applicants and 2 weeks for province applicants. 2.Visit the union branch where you applied in the application form and clain your card. The requirements are 2 id's and have it photo copied before going to the bank to avoid delay. You need to pay P350 that is yearly payments for non maintaining balance eon visa electron. and for activation for your debit card. You need to deposit atleast P200 for paypal purposes($1,95 or more) 3.If your acount is already activated enrol your debit card at union online banking fro eon cyberaccount. 4.go to paypal account and add eon visa electron as your credit card.the billing address should be the same as you used in eon cyberaccount. When approved ,wait 2 to 4 days and email unionbank service online via your eon cyber account and asked for your paypal expanded code. You can call also thier hotline 84-186 to ask for it. 5.If you recieve your paypal expanded code go to paypal account and complete the verification process by filling out the expanded code,After recieving a confirmation that your account has been vreified you are ready to do transaction. you can now withdraw cash from paypal using bank account for paypal (eon visa electron) you have to remember every transaction that you make they have transaction fee of $5 so make sure that you withdraw when you reach the maximum limit of $500 to maximize the transaction fee. for example if you withdraw $500 you can only get $495 in your bank account because they deducted the transaction fee. I know its a lot of work but you can only do this one time and you can use your paypal account already..Goodluck... Greetings from Che!

I have verified my account thru my credit card already. I think you will need to have at least a debit card. There are members here who used a debit card to verify their account.

Well I think unionbank has one that is Visa I think. You could inquire about it how to avail of it from them.

Thanks for starting discussion about this friend. The responses really help pinoys here including myself. I haven't think of it because I'm still far from being paid the reason why i don't worry that much. I just hope that when the time I have to think of withdrawing my earnings, it would be a lot easier then.

You actually need to get you paypal account verified so that you can lift some of the restrictions that is imposed on your paypal account while it is not yet verified. With an unverfied paypal account, online transactions would be limited since some sites would prefer to have paypal account holders to have their accounts verified. Sites like ebay prefer buyers that have verified paypal accoutn upon doing such transaction online. I have received payments as well as refunds sent to my account in paypal, even though mine is still not verified.

Yeah, I read chej18's Sure looks good to verify your account through that way. If I do get my account verified, I guess I'd be doing only online transactions than transfer them to the actual account, unless its Php 7,000 or more, I think received a notification that paypal wouldn't charge a transaction fee if the transfer is more than Php 7,000. Then again, the bank charges are separate from paypal's charges.. so I guess I'd only do online transactions.. it would be nic though if I could really withdraw them with no charges what-so-ever
