Do you walk with your dogs in the mall and parks..can you control them??

I love to see people who walk with their dogs in the mall parks..but I am afraid I might not control him and meet some other dogs and keeps on barking..thats what I am afraid thats why I dont bring my dogs with me in parks and malls...
another thing my dog is very heavy and I cannot carry him...But in the neigborhood I used to walk with my dog.
How do you control them in public places

I saw alot of people walking with their dogs and even shop in the mall and other stores.I wish we could do like that to our dog too but she was not use to.My hubby bring her to work but no other than that.She barks when she see people she didn't know so my hubby is scared she might bite someone or do any foolishness.

if there not so agressive i wouldnt
but if there good and not agressive then i gess you can :]

My dog barks like crazy when he sees other dogs. I would be very reluctant to bring him t o a public place with other dogs. Where we used ot live there ws a dog park but I would only take him there if there were no othe dogs around otherwise he would probably go nuts. Not fun for owner.
