How Much Can You Easily Improve Your Discussions' Exposure?

What's something simple that you can do to improve the exposure of your discussions? Here's my tip: Tag. Whenever you post a thread, or whenever you respond to one, myLot asks you to "submit tags" or "skip". Never skip... unless you're in a hurry. But really, never skip - because by submitting tags, you increase the opportunities that people can see your thread.
Example: I started a thread and forgot to put any tags. When I responded to another myLotter, the system asked if I wanted to add any tags, and so I put "million dollars" (or something like that) in the tag -- and then in the bottom part where it shows related discussions, I all of a sudden started to see "million dollar" related discussions.
Plus, if you visit someone's discussion and click on a particular tag word, you will get results returned - presumably from others who have had the same tag words used for their discussion.
So... Tag your discussions! It's an easy way to improve your discussions' exposure.

Tags help myLot to organize discussions (so users can find them). And if more users can find your discussion, responses are more likely.

That explanation makes it more clearer why I need to post tags. Thanks for that infor and maybe from now on I would tag every post or comments I submit to probably increase my exposure here at mylot. before I really do not appreciate this tags I even have a post regarding tags too and a few were able to answer my queries but this post of your does answer my doubts about tagging.

Anything that you can do to increase exposure to your discussions can only help you here on myLot. With the discussions that you start, I would certainly make sure to include tags - as the tags will "link" your discussion to similar posts and increase the chances that it will be seen.
With your comments on others' posts, I believe that the tags which you add are simply added to the tags attached to the post. They would increase the chance that the post would be seen, that others might see your comment and rate it or respond to it.
