Have you read this Yahoo article by David Wygant? It is very interesting. He lists the 6 things women should never do in the beginning of an relationship with a man. ( Sorry my gay friends.)The 6 are, trash talk about your ex, be paranoid about what he is doing away from you, trash talk about other women, fish for compliments, be clingy, possessive, and push your friends on him.Question. Ladies, have you ever done any of these with a new boyfriend?

I don't have to date with any men any more because I am married. But I am still curious about this topic because I will see whether I ever made any mistakes in the past when I dated a man. I think I didn't make the mistakes you mentioned:)

I have but he stuck around! Now things are good. That is what happens when we carry the baggage from past freaks! I still get a little crazy but just once a month and the whole house knows to leave me alone and I will be ok soon. I in turn keep away from everybody so I don't lash out.

That sounds like a woman with low self esteem. I usually am very quiet on a first couple of dates...so no. I don't do that kind of thing. I am more interested in listening to them to get the scoop on what kind of person they are so I can decided if I want to continue seeing them before anyone gets too deep into a relationship. I hate bad break ups.

Yes i have and i married to the guy that i didn't this to so really its not true. I only new the guy for 5months before we got married and i did all those and more... I don't know why he wanted to marry me cause i never talking about getting married he was the one that talked about it all the time.
