How do you pray?

do you pray? if yes, then how do you pray? I can suggest the A.C.T.S. pattern
A - adoration.
praise our god, let Him know how much you need Him.
C - contrition.
confess your sins. tell Him the sins that you have done. ( you will you heart
has lighten up ).
T - thanksgiving.
thank Him for the blessings you have receive. thank Him for your life.
S - supplication.
this is the part wherein you will ask Him the things that you want. ( ask &
you will receive ).

This is how on should pray:
1. don't pray only when in time of need
2. keep the faith. if your prayers don't get answered when in time of need, keep praying and dont stop. god may be testing your faith
3. pray like god is right in front of you, like a close friend
4. have the best intentions
5. don't do sin, don't cuss, engage in nice action throughout your day, don't waste time, instead use that time doing good deeds, it keeps you closer to god
6. prayer is simple, there is no actual pattern, it just comes from the heart

I LOVE talking to the Lord!! I just open my heart and talk to Him like my best friend. Whatever comes my way I have learned to rejoice in tribulation because of this. I just feel Him and know that He is hearing me. He answers every time!! People who say He doesn't is only because they didn't get the response they were seeking. But we sometimes choose to forget that God's ways are higher than ours and what we think is best is usually not.

yah i pray:) and we also the suggested pattern especially during our households, :) i am a member of Singles for Christ and thats same pattern we use during HH:) its good that you share it to others:) Godbless!:)

Yes I do pray and oddly enough that is how I pray lol. Not really on purpose though. Maybe I have been taught that but I just pray to God however I feel like it and I mostly take that route unknowingly. Most of the time I leave out the S because I dont feel the need to always ask God for something material. If I'm asking for something, it's usually guidance and protection and things along those lines.

first, ask for forgiveness, for all the sins you've done the whole day, then give thanks to all that He had done, even those things that we think is bad or not so good events in our lives, it teaches us lessons.. then ask or request something that would make you a more better Christian to live the next life He'll give you..a prayer is address to God, thru Jesus Christ our Lord.. that's a prayer..
