God's way is the best way...

i just want to share this poem... everytime i feel that things don't happen the way i want it, i always remember this poem... maybe it will help you out during rough times... ------------------- i asked the Lord for a bunch of fresh flowers but instead He gave me an ugly cactus with many thorns i asked the Lord for some beautiful butterflies but instead He gave me many ugly and dreadful worms. i was threatened i was disappointed i mourned but after many days, suddenly, i saw the cactus bloomed with many beautiful flowers and those worms became beautiful butterflies flying in the sping wind. I have to be honest and say that that poem really doesnt do anythign for me....Keep in mind that I'm NOT Christian but that fact is NOT why the poem didnt move me...The reason it didnt is because I'm the type of person who appreciates what she has....I'd LIKE the cactus, I'd LIKE the worms..."you can't always get what you want" but appreciating what you get or have and makign the seemingly negative into a positive is the way I live..

thanks for your honesty... i just find the poem to be very intriguing, to think that it was written by someone while he was still in prison. its true! we have to be contented and utilize what you have.

Sure, God's way is the best way. Sometimes, we can't understanding things that are happening in us but later we realize that there are purposes on everything that had happened.

That was a very good poem. I liked it a lot. I have full faith in God and I don't believe anything except God. I completely agree with you...God's way is the best way, God's way is the Only way.. Thanks a lot
